Speeches!
Wednesday 31st of August, We had a speech competition. We had two judges to take on the challenge of picking 3 people as winners and who ever comes first then has to represent our school in the real competition. We had some people with amazing speech topics, with some huge voices, amazing expression. Oh, Do you know how I said the judges had to pick 3? Well actually they picked 4! only because 2 people were so equally good that they both came third, and those too people are Fifita, and Vika. Second was Dinah and first is.... DANAE! With her speech about being grateful.

Basketball
Today, We had a basketball session. We started of by doing some warm-ups, First we did jogging, Then we did High knees, Cheek kick and some skipping. Then we got into dribbling, We starting by dribbling front and back and then we got into some races. We had to put the ball around our waist ten times and then dribble all the way and then we passed the ball around our head and then we dribbled back. My team came first only because we didn't lose control when we were dribbling. Our keyword for dribbling was Control.
The next session we practiced passing, We did warm-ups and then got into passing, We learnt three different passes which were the chest pass, The bounce pass and the overhead pass. We always have to take one step then pass.
Then we got to shoot!, We got into lines of boys and girls and we had a competition first to ten wins, Me Jack and Nikola got 4 shots and then soumnaug I think got another shot but the girls won.

Hearing
Today the 2nd of August 2016, We had some people from Lynfield College that taught us about our ears and How we can prevent them from being deaf.
One thing I learnt about our ears is that it measures in Decibels and if you listen or hear anything above 85 Decibels then you are damaging your ears. We did an activity and we were listening to sounds as if we were deaf.
